Ok, so most of you guess it with the poll. I am going on my first cruise for my birthday!! My parents said I could take 3 friends. I am going with Liz, Marvin, and Mandy!!! Jared can't come because he has "work" in DC (at least that's where he "says" he is). This should be great! It's only for two days, but it should be fun. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel. I'lll post more when I get back.

More Poems...
I love this one. If you are feeling discouraged about something, or if you are trying to reach a goal, this could help.
Somebody said that it couldn’t be done,
But, he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn’t," but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.
Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you’ll never do that;
At least no one has done it";
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he’d begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.

I'm Sick - This is not good...
Sure enough, after playing around in the snow yesterday, I got sick. It isn't too bad. I only have a stuffy head. I hope it goes away soon. On the bright side, I know what I am doing for my birthday!! You have to guess what it is though. Use the poll I made to find out.

You Learn Something New About Yourself Every Day...
So I was thinking what I wanted to do for my birthday this year. Wow I can't believe 17, soon to be 18, years have gone by in my life. It seems like yesterday I was walking around Odyssey Elementary School, and the only thing I worried about was being called on in class rather than SAT prep. Well anyhow, I searched my birthday online and found that my birthday also marks a day when many sports records were broken. Why don't you try it? Look up your birthday and tell me something cool that happened on your birthday through the years.

I'm a Sensitive Guy
Don't laugh, but I have a sensitive side to my personality. There are times where I just have to open a good poetry book. Some poems I write myself.
Just Friends
I love you more every day,
My name I long for you to say.
Do you know just how I feel?
Do you know this love is real?
Sometimes I wonder what you think.
When you hear my name, do your cheeks turn pink?
Do you dream about me every night?
Wish to hug me and hold me tight?
Do you think we're meant to be?
Together forever, you and me?
These are the questions that run through my mind,
Your way into my heart, you did find.
It drives me crazy as to what I should do,
Should I risk a friendship and confess to you?
Or should I keep my feelings inside,
Keep them locked up, let them hide?
I just don't know what to do anymore,
My heart it aches, my heart it's sore.
I love you more than you could know,
And I don't want to ever let you go.
So even if I'm just a friend,
I'll always love you until the end.
